VanTek has sold Holmen Paper, Wargon Mill PM5 to Guangxi Yongkai Sugar Manufacturing Company

VanTek has sold Holmen Paper, Wargon Mill PM5 to Guangxi Yongkai Sugar Manufacturing Company in southern China who will use this machine to start bagasse pulp based paper manufacturing in China. Yongkai also has bought other papermaking equipment from Holmen's closed Wargön mill, including a coater. In operation at Wargön mill, PM5 had a capacity of approximately 145,000 tons of coated mechanical paper per year. The dismantling of the machine begain in mid-March and is expected to be completed by the end of July 2010. Contact snelson@vantekinc.com for additional information.

Vantek, Inc. has just concluded the sale of PM 24 from Pasadena Paper Co. to Guangxi Jingdaxing Paper Industry Company located in Guangdong, China. Originally a printing & writing, coated woodfree/freesheet machine, PM 24 is suitable for hi-end newsprint.

VanTek, Inc. is pleased to announce the sale of PM 3 from Catalyst in Port Alberni, BC to Khanna Paper in India. The 140,000 ton-per-year PM 3 was originally a lightweight newsprint machine and will be used as a Fine or Printing & Writing Paper machine.

VanTek, Inc. finalizes sale of equipment at Gaspesia Papers.

VanTek, Inc. has finalized an agreement to buy the Gaspesia paper mill and all of its equipment. The paper mill, located in Chandler, Quebec, will be dismantled and eventually shipped overseas. The transaction is good news for all parties, especially for the City of Chandler, as it will generate millions of dollars in an economic development fund to finance new projects in the region. VanTek is working with several clients to find complete pulp & paper mills and / or equipment.

VanTek, Inc. has recently been appointed exclusive broker for the sale of idled Holmen Paper AB equipment in Sweden. The equipment includes PM2 - a Newsprint machine, 5.3m wide, producing 110,000 tons per year, as well as a complete Deink Plant at the Holmen Hallstavik mill. Vantek, Inc. will also be selling all the equipment from the Holmen Wargon mill including pulpers, a bleach plant, a coated paper machine, and much more.
