VanTek sells 5m Linerboard Machine from Moss, Norway to Paper Mill in Egypt

VanTek is pleased to confirm the sale of the idled 5m Kraft Linerboard PM from the papermill in Moss, Norway, formerly known as Peterson Paper. A paper mill in Egypt has purchased PM5 and intends to install and start it up again at their mill in Egypt. The 5m wide, Kraft, 2-layer Linerboard machine is complete, well preserved, and in very good condition. Preparations to dismantle, export pack and ship the paper machine to Egypt are now underway and will be completed sometime in August 2013. Mr. Gordon Cassie of VanTek Inc, the exclusive agent for the sale of the equipment at the Moss papermill, has had many visitors at the mill in the last several months – several of them are seriously interested in the purchase of the other equipment including PM4 which is a 4.5m wide Linerboard machine, an OCC pulp recycling line, and a Continuous Kamyr Kraft Pulp mill. VanTek sells 3.6m Board Machine from Veuze, France to Paper Mill in Indonesia

The machine was making 3.5m wide White Top, 2-ply Linerboard. The machine had been shut down in Q1 of 2011 but well preserved in place. The Indonesian buyer is very pleased to find this high quality machine complete from stock preparation equipment to winder with newer technology including a Gorostidi Shoe Press. With assistance from VanTek and the Seller he is eagerly pressing on with the dismantling, export packing and shipping process and anticipates installation and start-up of this machine at his Indonesia mill site in early 2014. Dalum Paper - Odense, Denmark appoints VanTek as exclusive agent for sale of (2) Two Paper Machines and liquidation of other contents of mill

VanTek Inc. has been awarded the exclusive rights to sell the recently shut-down paper machines at the Dalum Paper mill in Odense, Denmark.

The idled assets include a 4.8m trim Metso, coated, Printing & Writing paper machine; a 3.2m trim Escher Wyss uncoated Printing & Writing machine, high quality Sheeters, Roll & Ream Wrappers, Guillotine Cutters and more, as well as other peripheral equipment and many spare parts. The paper machines were updated in recent years with high quality components from Metso, Voith, , etc; are complete from stock prep through winder, and both are in very good condition. The machines were stopped and the mill was shut down in 2012, but all the machinery has been kept intact, fully assembled and have been well maintained since then, pending sale to off-shore customers.

VanTek was awarded the Dalum contract based on their past successes in selling used pulp and paper equipment, and particularly their proven record to sell & scrap all the mill’s contents. Potential buyers are already visiting the Dalum paper mill, and VanTek anticipates considerable buyer interest.

VanTek has sold Holmen Paper, Wargon Mill PM5 to Guangxi Yongkai Sugar Manufacturing Company

VanTek has sold Holmen Paper, Wargon Mill PM5 to Guangxi Yongkai Sugar Manufacturing Company in southern China who will use this machine to start bagasse pulp based paper manufacturing in China. Yongkai also has bought other papermaking equipment from Holmen's closed Wargön mill, including a coater. In operation at Wargön mill, PM5 had a capacity of approximately 145,000 tons of coated mechanical paper per year. VanTek, Inc. has finalized an agreement to buy the Gaspesia paper mill and all of its equipment. The paper mill, located in Chandler, Quebec, will be dismantled and eventually shipped overseas. The transaction is good news for all parties, especially for the City of Chandler, as it will generate millions of dollars in an economic development fund to finance new projects in the region.
